We are waiting patiently today. They said it would be arriving this morning, but no sign as of yet. The air is cooling and the clouds are covering the sky. I can feel it coming... snow.
The barren trees are calling for it. They miss their blanket... not leaves this time of year, but glistening snow. It will wrap around their branches and hold them tight as they sleep 'till Spring.

I love this tree, and it does seem to be waiting for snow. We were supposed to have snow today, but nothing yet...
It's been very windy here for the past few days. All the beautiful leaves are mostly gone. And, the sky races with its blanket of clouds, but no snow yet, please. I can wait awhile.
Awww, thanks Sara. The little bit we got yesterday makes me happy. Hoping for a winter wonderland to appear soon!
Yeah... ummm... the snow never came. Finally got a dusting yesterday. I can wait. As long as we have it for Christmas. :)
