Badlands and Dinosaurs

We are trying to enjoy these last beautiful days of Summer here, so today we decided to take a trip to the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller. It is a short 1 1/2 hour drive east from our house. You drive about 90% of the way through prairie land with wheat, barely and corn fields. Then suddenly as if out of nowhere, you see this...The glorious badlands of Alberta. Hoo-doos, parched land, high winds, fossils ... it's beautiful.

The museum is tucked away here. It was so much fun. The displays are amazing, and so much of it interactive.

Albertosaurus

Some strange little creature here. lol

It was a great day.
